H. Charles Floyd
Executive Vice President, Hyatt Hotels Corporation
H. Charles Floyd was appointed Executive Vice President, Global
President of Operations in August 2014. In this role, Mr. Floyd
leads and develops Hyatt's shared operation services organization
known as the Global Operations Center ("GOC") and is responsible for
the successful operation of Hyatt's hotels globally. Prior to his
current role, Mr. Floyd was Executive Vice President, Group
President—Global Operations Center from October 2012 to August 2014.
Since joining Hyatt, Mr. Floyd served in a number of senior
positions, including Executive Vice President—North America
Operations and Senior Vice President of Sales, as well as various
managing director and general manager roles.
Jim Carroll
Co-Founder, Savant Systems
Jim Carroll is currently working as an advisor to senior executive
of home technology companies through his firm, Connected Home
Advisory, a role he has held since January 2015. In this role, he
helps navigate and validate business and technology directions.
Prior he served as Founder / President of Savant Systems from 2005
to 2014. Savant pioneered the modern era of software based connected
home solutions as an industry leader in connected home systems. Jim
has extensive history of successes in orchestrating the start-up,
growth and success of diverse technology driven businesses within
the connected home, consumer electronics, and telecommunications
industries. With over 25 years' experience, Jim has held a number of
senior executive positions including; CEO, President, business
development, sales, operations, and engineering for both
entrepreneurial ventures and mature technology companies.
Mark Hoffenberg
CEO, AudioVisions
Mark Hoffenberg co-founded AUDIOVISIONS with Bob Walpert in 1989.
Hoffenberg led the company's rapid growth to become one of the
Nation's largest and best respected System Integrators. In 2005, he
led the acquisition of AUDIOVISIONS to Best Buy and for the
subsequent 9 served as Vice President, Services for Best Buy while
remaining President of AUDIOVISIONS. In 2014, Mr. Hoffenberg led the
re-acquisition of AUDIOVISIONS from Best Buy. Today, Mark leads a
talented team of more than 80 employees in four geographic markets
and is responsible for the company’s overall vision, business
strategy, partnerships, ventures and key initiatives. Mr. Hoffenberg
is a 30 year CEDIA Industry veteran and has twice served on the
CEDIA Board of Directors.
Ed Blair
Executive Vice President, Lutron Electronics
Ed Blair is a business leader with 22 years of leadership experience
in highly innovative businesses across the commercial, residential
and retail sectors for Lutron Electronics, the World leader in
lighting control and automated shading solutions. As Executive Vice
President, Ed is actively involved in the strategic direction of all
of Lutron’s business units. Ed’s career at Lutron has revolved
around innovation in both product and new business development, he
is listed as a primary inventor on 44 issued and 11 pending United
States patents, which span the areas of design, utility and system
development. Recently, Ed led the acquisition of Ketra, Inc.,
Lutron’s most significant acquisition in company history. This
acquisition uniquely positions Lutron as the only company in the
world to be able to create perfect lighting environments in both
residential and commercial spaces utilizing Lutron’s system
capability, automated shading, and Ketra light sources.
Leo Marmol
Managing Partner, Marmol-Radzinger
Leo Marmol, FAIA, is Managing Partner of the Los Angeles, San
Francisco, and New York-based design-build firm Marmol Radziner. Leo
Marmol has extensive experience managing a variety of residential
and commercial projects, including modern prefabricated homes,
historic restorations, as well as public and community-based urban
projects. Active in his profession, Leo lectures widely on the
topics of architecture, sustainability, and restoration. Leo
received his Bachelor of Architecture with a Minor in Philosophy
from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo,
California, in 1987. Leo was elevated to the College of the Fellows
of the American Institute of Architects in 2007 and inducted into
the Interior Design Hall of Fame in 2009.
